the objective
Development of Human Limbs Locomotion Big-Data for AI-driven Artificial limbs
Bio-Robotic platforms and artificial limbs, require precise spatial movement to mimic natural human locomotion. Our conceptual model directs the use of AI models to manage each robotic component involved in locomotion. Training of such models require elaborate, tagged, large-scale human limbs locomotion data.
To enable our collaborators and other clients the development of such models, Bility is developing algorithmic tools and establishing a human limbs locomotion big-data center accessible to collaborators and clients from related industries.
The method
What do we develop?
We are developing human limbs locomotion simulator based on real world data, calculated meta data and bio mechanics models.
The simulator will be able to generate unified, tagged and detailed human limb locomotion data, carefully designed to achieve effective and accurate AI training. We will provide data access, tools and a framework that will enable the collaborative development of AI-driven bio-robotic systems.
Target users
Who can use our products?
We will provide access to our human locomotion big-data and usage licenses of the simulator and tools to our collaborators, subject to our collaboration framework so that they will be able to efficiently train their AI models and subject to our commercial framework and to other clients and organizations that would like to utilize our data for their own propriety projects and research.
Robotics and Bio-Robotic industries
Medical robots, Industrial robots, humanoid robots, artificial limb manufacturers and related R&D groups will be able to use our big-data simulator and tools to achieve superior human-like behavior in their products and may leverage our collaborative development framework to accelerate AI-based product development.
Sports and wearables industries
Sport shoes, advanced sport clothes and wearable devices manufacturers are developing products that their effective functionality depends upon the understanding of body posture, spatial movement and movement dynamic.
The integration of our big data, simulator and tools in the R&D process of these products may enable a better understanding of human limb locomotion and the development of the next product generation with superior performance.
Space industry
The space industry is a fast-growing industry that heavily relies on robotic systems and autonomous modules that perform various tasks in space. Many of the tasks should mimic human locomotion. Our product set may enable the development of new related AI-driven robots to achieve precise human-like movement along with other robotic capabilities.
Academic research
Academic research groups in various fields such as computer science, robotics, physiotherapy, medicine and medical engineering are exploring many aspects of human limbs locomotion, hence, may find great interest in our big-data center.
The detailed bio-mechanical information, meta-data, locomotion simulation and real-world data that we provide may become the foundation of groundbreaking research projects and articles in these fields.
