the objective

Building a working prototype of lower leg artificial limb

A working prototype of a lower-leg artificial limb, based on our conceptual model, would demonstrate and promote the commercialization of such technologies and related intellectual properties. We will incorporate core and collaborative R&D technologies into the prototype, which will be presented to potential commercial partners and clients. The advanced prototype may also lead to the establishment of an internal production line.

What do we build?

Design and assemble of the Artificial limb main skeleton, using existing and newly developed plastic materials, focused on modularity, light weight, static connectors mechanism, maintenance and components assembly.

Design and develop outer skin layer modules, shape, assembly and connectivity mechanism, power supply and data interfaces.

Design and build the physical manifestation of the sensors & Grids module, their energy supply, location, connectivity, replacement and maintenance mechanism.

Design and develop a rechargeable electrical power source with two alternate recharge mechanisms, mainly pressure and sunlight-based sources.
